Online College Degrees

Online College Degrees - No more time to go to class, everything is going online. When I was going to college, online degrees were frowned upon. Now that im out in the real world, they look more appealing. But all in all, I am against the education system. I don’t need someone to sit in front of me reading a power point slide. I believe I can read it myself. At home… without paying for classes. I have met some amazing professors that make up for the doldrums of inadequacy that was the rest of my classes.

Education is a practice in short term memory. Are you smarter than a 5th grader (Hosted by Jeff Foxworthy) kind of proves my point in an extreme manner. Now I’m not the smartest cookie in the jar, but I can remember things for a short period of time. People marvel when young kids make it to college, doesn’t that tell you something? Education takes time more than anything. Longer for some than others to understand and remember the concepts.

The price of an education is a costly one, but why is an education so important? The generic answer, “To get a better job or qualify for a better job”. Well, according to discrimination laws you cannot deny a job to anyone that doesn’t have a degree. You can deny them for not having the proper qualifications, but that’s why you see, “Bachelors Degree Preferred” instead of required.

Honestly I am tempted to buy a degree instead of finishing school. Then go back to school to learn a few things that interest me.
